Overview

This webinar is essential for designers, engineers, and decision-makers exploring precision engineering in some of the most challenging materials. Traditional machining methods often fall short when it comes to creating internal threads in ultra-hard ceramics; think sapphire, silicon carbide, quartz, alumina, and zirconia. INSACO’s proprietary internal-threading process not only overcomes these long-standing limitations but also delivers unmatched precision, durability, and integrity, without compromising the material.

Attendees will gain exclusive insights into how this technology transforms design potential across aerospace, medical, semiconductor, and industrial sectors by enabling robust, high-performance threaded components in environments where temperature, wear, and stress are critical considerations.

Key Takeaways

  • See what types of materials can now be internally threaded and how this expands the range of applications for engineers and designers.
  • Discover the differences in internal threading solutions in hard materials versus traditional joining methods.
  • Learn applications and other materials that hard materials solve in different settings, industries, and applications.
