Overview

Compared to common non-contact measurement techniques, eddy current displacement measurement is characterized by extreme precision and measurement stability even in harsh industrial environments. In contrast to conventional sensors, Micro-Epsilon’s eddy current sensors are resistant against pressure, vibrations, temperature and even electro-magnetic fields. The sensors can be used for displacement and position measurements even in industrial environments when sub micrometer accuracy is required.

Used in a wide range of industries, eddy current displacement sensors take measurements where many other sensors cannot. They are unaffected by oil, dirt, dust and moisture found on engines, test cells, machines and in production lines.
