Overview

Diodes Incorporated’s USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) portfolio delivers a compelling value proposition for engineers and product developers seeking robust, scalable, and efficient power management solutions. With full compliance to USB PD 3.1/3.2 standards and support for both Standard Power Range (SPR) and Extended Power Range (EPR), Diodes’ controllers like the AP33771C and AP33772S offer seamless integration across a wide voltage range (3V–31V), enabling flexible power negotiation up to 28V. These devices are designed for plug-and-play simplicity, with hardware-based control for fixed profiles and I2C-based software control for dynamic configurations, making them ideal for both consumer and industrial applications.

What sets Diodes apart is its commitment to reliability and protection. Our PD controllers feature overcurrent, short-circuit, over-temperature, and undervoltage protection, along with advanced capabilities like automatic cable voltage drop compensation and moisture detection between DP/DN pins. The compact footprint (DFN-14 and QFN-24 packages) ensures space efficiency, while automotive-grade variants support up to 120W charging for in-vehicle systems. For developers, this translates into faster design cycles, reduced BOM complexity, and enhanced system safety—making Diodes a strategic partner in the evolution of USB Type-C PD ecosystems.
