Manufacturers are under increasing pressure to improve bonding performance while also meeting sustainability goals. This webinar will show how The Adhesive & Sealant Industry's 2026 Innovation Award-winning Born2Bond™ Ultra K85 combines fast bonding with exceptional resistance to heat, humidity and water while using 60% bio-based content. Attendees will learn how this technology can help address demanding assembly applications without sacrificing durability or sustainability.
Overview
Manufacturers increasingly need bonding solutions that can deliver fast processing, long-term durability and improved sustainability—without forcing a compromise between them. Bostik’s Born2Bond™ Ultra K85 was named the Adhesive & Sealant Industry’s 2026 Innovation Award winner for addressing that challenge with a fast-bonding instant adhesive engineered for demanding environmental conditions. The technology is the first instant adhesive to withstand up to 1,000 hours at 85°C and 85% relative humidity, while incorporating 60% bio-based content from renewable sources.
In this webinar, attendees will take a closer look at the technology behind Born2Bond™ Ultra K85 and how its combination of rapid fixture time, heat and humidity resistance, water resistance and durability can support challenging bonding applications. Bostik will also explore where the technology can provide value across applications including automotive (rubber bonding), consumer electronics(casing, blooming troubleshooting) , medical devices(safe), general assembly, MRO (general reparation) and other manufactured products. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how next-generation instant adhesives can help improve assembly performance while supporting broader sustainability objectives. Following K85 MV launch in 2025, Bostik will also advertise on ongoing developments from the K85 backbone to be expected in the years to come.
