The transition from traditional GEO satellites to proliferated LEO constellations is reshaping the RF hardware landscape, driving a shift from bespoke, low-volume manufacturing toward scalable, high-volume production—all while maintaining stringent RF performance requirements. In this webinar, co-hosted by RFMW and Nuvotronics, attendees will learn how Nuvotronics' proprietary PolyStrata® technology bridges this gap, delivering high-performance RF filtering solutions that combine exceptional electrical performance with compact form factors and manufacturing scalability to meet the evolving demands of next-generation satellite payloads.
Overview
The transition from geostationary (GEO) satellites to proliferated low Earth orbit (LEO) constellations has fundamentally reshaped the RF space hardware landscape. The adoption of phased arrays shifts the manufacturing model from hand-crafted, low-volume assemblies towards automated, high-volume production. The number of RF components required per satellite has dramatically increased —all while maintaining stringent RF performance requirements. Furthermore, as satellite operators pursue global broadband connectivity, higher data rates, and greater network capacity, operation at Ka-band frequencies and higher becomes necessary. This amplifies the need for compact, dimensionally-precise solutions that can be manufactured consistently and cost-effectively at scale.
Join RFMW and Nuvotronics for a webinar exploring how Nuvotronics' proprietary PolyStrata® technology is uniquely positioned to meet this need. Designed for demanding microwave and millimeter-wave applications, PolyStrata enables high-performance RF filtering in compact form factors, with the flexibility to tailor electrical characteristics to specific system requirements. This design flexibility helps engineers achieve the necessary performance without adding unnecessary size or incurring avoidable cost.
Attendees will learn how PolyStrata technology can help satellite developers balance RF performance requirements with size, weight, and cost constraints while supporting the repeatability and scalability needed for proliferated LEO architectures. Discover how advanced RF manufacturing can enable the next generation of high-throughput satellite communications and commercial space infrastructure.
