Overview

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is gaining traction as a communication technology for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) as OEMs look to reduce system complexity, cost, and weight. This transition from traditional Ultra High Frequency (UHF)-based TPMS to BLE is driving changes in both product design and vehicle system architectures.

This webinar explores the market drivers behind BLE TPMS adoption and the factors influencing the industry's shift away from traditional UHF communication technologies. Attendees will gain insights into the product-level changes required to enable BLE TPMS and the key considerations associated with system integration and implementation.

Drawing on Sensata's experience with BLE TPMS development, the team will share insights into how transitioning to BLE may influence connectivity, system design, and future TPMS development as the technology continues to evolve. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the rationale behind BLE TPMS adoption and the factors to consider when evaluating a transition from traditional UHF-based systems.
