I'm using a pair of these along with a plastic 60ml syringe and Luer tee to make a simple syringe pump for water at pressure ranging from vapor pressure to above 1 bar. It works great, with very little pressure difference required to crack open the check valve (perhaps around 10 mbar or less), and resisting at least 1 bar pressure backwards.
