Pry Bars Information

Gooseneck pry barPry bars, also known as crowbars or pinch bars, are hand tools constructed of steel that are used for removing nails, prying apart building materials, demolition and construction renovations. They are available in various sizes and shapes.  Pry bars have an angled flattened end, sometimes forked, that allow it to be used as a lever.

Crowbars are designed with a curved end and angled end that allow proper leverage during nail removal.  Pry bars are generally constructed of steel.  Some pry bars will have a handle grip if only one end is constructed for prying, while others will be constructed to pry using both ends of the tool.
