Online office suites are offered as software as a service. This type of office suite software can be accessed from any internet-ready device with an operating system. By using online office suite software, users can access work, or collaborate with others at any time. Offline office suites are generally opened by an organization for use by their employees. The programs are available throughout that particular computer network. There are different types of office suite software to be chosen from. Options include multi-platform office suite software, freeware, and open source office suites.
