In 1959, the company founder Sakagami established Fuji Machine Manufacturing Co. Ltd., which is the former company name, together with 13 associate pioneers.

They introduced a groundbreaking "FS-type single function machine" to the world after continuous efforts in research and development. Fuji, which contributes to the development of manufacturing all across the world, started here as a machine tool manufacturer.

Taking advantage of the knowledge gained from machining tools and a wealth of ideas in product development, Fuji took a leap into the new field of automated assembly machines. This led to building the foundation of the electric component mounter robots, which is our main business.
