At Rotolok we are always seeking to improve our range by gaining certification for more of our products, meaning the customer has more choice of ATEX certified solutions for use in DSEAR Hazardous Zones. Nearly all of our products are rated as ATEX Category 3 suitable for use in DSEAR Zones 2 and 22 and we are constantly adding to the Category 1 and 2 certificate on equipment suitable for use in Zones 0 & 20 and Zones 1 & 21 respectively.

At present our Rotary Airlocks / Valves, Offset Rotary Valves, Oddball Rotary Valves and Blowing Seal Valves are rated as Category 1 for use in Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 & 22. Currently rated as Category 2 for use in Zones 1, 2, 21 & 22 are our Gravity Diverter, Conveying Diverter, Double Flap, Fabricated Slide and Roundhead Valves. The products currently restricted to certification as Category 3 include, but are not limited to: Kleanlok, Plug Diverter, Dust Collector Valve, Butterfly Damper, Slim Slides and Roto Slides.
