New, Smaller Valbia^® VB015M Metal Electric Actuator Brings Compact Power and Reliability to Industrial Applications

Bonomi’s new Valbia^® Series VB015M quarter-turn actuator is the company’s smallest aluminum body electric actuator to date.  A compact workhorse for industrial systems, it is designed for use with Bonomi ball valves in sizes from ¼” to 2” diameters, and butterfly valves up to 2-1/2”.

The Valbia VB015M offers features found in larger actuators, including a NEMA 4, 4X die-cast aluminum housing, raised position indicator, two extra limit switches, a heater and thermostat, ½” conduit connections and a 75% duty cycle motor.

The aluminum body is polyester powder coated to protect it against environmental elements. The gear train is made with steel and techno-polymer gears, supported by hardened steel pinions and mounted on self-lubricating bushings for long, reliable service.

VB015M actuators are dual voltage. A manual override is standard. Options include programmable positioner, rotary potentiometer and battery backup for failsafe operation. 

The new actuators are built to ISO 5211-DIN3337 standards for easy direct mount installation on valves. They are available as separate components or on single-number automated valve packages with Bonomi butterfly valves and low-torque ball valves.
