It is used when periodic shutdown is possible for cleaning the bags. During normal operation, when the magnehelic gauge reaches a 6" pressure drop, it is time to shut down the baghouse and shake the bags. A silo filling operation with a standard tank truck takes about 45 minutes to complete. At the end of this cycle the bags need to be cleaned.
