PNEUMATIC CLAMPING FASTENERS
Pneumatic Clamping Fasteners are designed for quick change applications. Instant pneumatic clamping reduces setup time in multiple-parts holding and frequent changeover of machinery or fixture. On the ball locking fastener type, the shaft pushes out the balls onto the tapered surface of the receptacle to provide clamping force. On the ID holding fastener, a prepared hole of a workpiece is clamped when air is supplied, and unclamped when air is released. Pin holding fasteners are also available, which clamp onto QCPC-series clamping pins when air is supplied and unclamp when air is released.
