Dataforth Corporation offers a complete line of SCM7B isolated analog process control signal conditioning modules that provide a compact, low cost solution for industrial data acquisition and control applications. Fourteen family groups and a total of 202 different SCM7B modules are available.
Each SCM7B module provides a single channel of isolated analog input or output. Input modules accept analog voltage or current signals from all types of field sensors and sources; they then filter, isolate, amplify, linearize, and convert these input signals to high-level analog outputs suitable for use in a process control system. Output modules accept high-level analog voltage signals from a process control system, then buffer, isolate, filter, and amplify them before providing a current or voltage output to a field device.

The SCM7B family includes the following module types: analog voltage input, bipolar voltage output, process current/voltage input, linearized 2- or 3-wire RTD input, 2-wire transmitter interface with loop power, potentiometer input, non-linearized thermocouple input, process current output, wide bandwidth analog voltage input, and linearized thermocouple input. Custom SCM7B modules also are available.
The SCM7B product line includes a complete selection of backpanels, DIN rail mounting options, racks, power supplies, and other accessory items.
