Richmond Hill, Ontario – Novaflex’s extremely flexible, high temperature U-Lok™ 1500 hose is ideal for aggressive and/or abrasive diesel exhaust applications. U-Lok™ 1500 is constructed using a 2-ply, asbestos-free fabric and ceramic cloth combination with coated E-glass which allows it to withstand temperatures from -200°F to +1500°F. Along with Novaflex’s patented U-Lok™ mechanical bond and stainless steel helix, a very fine V4A wire woven-in to the fabric provides additional reinforcement and superior service life, yet offers extreme flexibility and lightweight handling. Since diesel exhaust particulate can cause abrasion in exhaust applications, the U-Lok™ 1500 exhaust hose is an ideal solution anywhere diesel engine exhaust extraction is needed, such as; airport and municipal bus terminals and maintenance garages as well independent diesel/heavy equipment mechanic shops. Other ideal uses would be any hot air extraction, furnace construction, iron and steel works, etc. Sizes available include inner-diameters from 4” to 24” with larger sizes available upon request. Offered in standard lengths of 25’ with a compression ratio of 4:1. Weight: 6” I.D. = 2lbs/ft.
