JML Optical Industries located in Rochester, New York, is a privately owned designer and manufacturer of precision optical components and systems. Since 1972, the first year of operation, JML Optical has continuously served domestic and international customers with high quality optics from prototype through high volume quantities. The company has the technical resources to serve users with top-level system performance specifications who require a completely designed and engineered optical system. Customers with their own optical designs engage JML to manufacture timely prototype units, often prior to the initiation of full scale production. Other purchasers request that JML design and apply a customized thin film to already ground and polished substrates, or perform designated secondary operation such as polishing or centering to customer furnished materials.
