Type
   Burnishing / Peening Type
   Your choices are...
Ballizing / Ball Burnishing         Ballizing/ball burnishing is the process of pushing an oversized ball through a hole to expand and harden the material around the hole.
Deep Rolling       Deep rolling uses a roller and repeated force to work a material.
Laser Peening       Laser peening uses pulses from a high-power laser to work the target material.
Low Plasticity Burnishing       Low plasticity burnishing (LPB) uses a ball that is rolled over the surface. The pressure is generated from fluid that allows the force to remain constant.
Shot Peening       Shot peening is the process of working material by impacting the material surface with shot.
Ultrasonic Peening / Ultrasonic Impact       Ultrasonic peening is the process of using ultrasonic impacts on the surface of a material to increase fatigue life.
Water Jet / Cavitation Peening       Water jet/cavitation peening uses a jet of water to work the surface of the material to increase fatigue life.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Abrasive Feed:
   Your choices are...
Dry / Air       The machine uses a stream or jet of air to carry, accelerate or direct the abrasive particles against the workpiece.
Wet / Water        The machine uses a stream or jet of water to cut, to carry or accelerate the abrasive particles against the workpiece.
Gravity Fed       The abrasive particles are fed into the nozzle or wheel by gravity for projection onto the workpiece.
Pressure Fed       Pressure pot or vessel contains a mixture of abrasive and carrier fluid (e.g., air, water, other). The pressurized air, liquid or gas in the vessel pushes the abrasive particles into the gun.
Suction / Venturi Fed       The abrasive particles are sucked into the gun, nozzle or lance through a Venturi generation process. Venturi generators use a fast-moving stream to create a vacuum that pulls materials into the steam.

   Machine Mounting:
   Your choices are...
Robotic / Articulated Arm       Robotic arms can uniformly clean or roughen a surface by scanning a surface in a controlled and repeatable fashion. Jet cutters mounted on crawlers or robotic arms are also useful in hazardous situations such as in disarming a bomb or mine.
Blast Room / Cutting Booth       Blast rooms or enclosed blasting booths contain the blasting process when blasting larger workpieces. Blast cabinets usually consist of a room with internal lighting that holds both the workpiece and the operator. The operator may hold the blasting nozzle on the end of a lance. The workpieces rest on open grid flooring that allows used abrasive to drop through for recycling.
Blast Cabinet / Enclosure       Blast cabinets are glove box-like vessels that hold the workpiece and the blasting process. Blast cabinets usually consist of a chamber with glove ports, viewing window and internal lighting.  The workpieces rest on an open grid that allows used abrasive to drop through for recycling.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Dust Collection / Filtration System       Dust collection or filtration systems remove fine particle sizes of abrasives, media and blasting waste (i.e., removed scale or stock in the form of dust or fine swarf) that would otherwise become suspended in the air.
Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
Blast / Jet Pressure       The pressure of the water or air used to create a jet or blast stream for cutting or propelling abrasive particles.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Abrasive Grain / Media Flow:       Rate of flow or feed of the abrasive grain in the system.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.

Specifications - Part Handling
   Workpiece Loading:
   Your choices are...
None (Large Surface)       On large, fixed surfaces such as the side of a steel tank, ship's hull, vehicle or building wall, the blast stream or abrasive jet is presented to and scanned or guided across the surface for cutting or cleaning.
Hand Loaded       The part is handheld for presentation to the abrasive blast stream. Parts cannot be presented to the stream in a water jet abrasive machine.
Belt / Roller Conveyor Loaded       The part is mounted on a belt, chain or roller conveyor for presentation to the abrasive blast stream or jet.
Overhead Monorail Conveyor Loaded       The part is mounted onto an overhead monorail or rail conveyor for presentation to the abrasive blast stream or jet.
Gantry / XY Table Loaded       The part is mounted onto a gantry or XY table. The cutting jet traverses the sheet or part to cut out the pre-designed pattern.
Rotary Table Loaded       The workpiece is clamped to or held in a vise mounted on a rotary table.
Tumbler / Tumble Belt Loaded       The part is mounted in a tumbler belt or tumbler for presentation to the abrasive blast stream or jet. Different surfaces are exposed to the blast stream as the part tumbler on the belt. Large parts processed in groups may be damaged through impacts with other parts.
Spinner Hanger / Turnstile Loaded       The workpiece is hung or hooked onto a hanger mounted on a spinning rack or rotary turnstile with hooks.
Other       Other unlisted, specialized or proprietary workpiece loading types.

   Features
   Your choices are...
Automatic / CNC Controlled       Machine or system using a CNC controller to operate automatically with little or no operator intervention. The machine changes or adjusts abrasive media and other parameters such as speed, applied load or coolant/lubricant flow rate in a pre-programmed manner.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
