Kirari NINJA® - Development History
Featured Product from Daitron Co., Ltd.
Based on user feedback, we’ve updated Kirari NINJA® to serve you better.
In this column, we look back at the development history of Kirari NINJA®.
The original Kirari NINJA®
- Kirari NINJA® was jointly developed with Monohakobi Technology Institute (MTI), an NYK group company, at the request of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line).
- Equipped with a 360-degree camera, it automatically photographs the inside of the marine engine cylinder.
The 2nd generation Kirari NINJA®-DS
- The first-generation model did not fit into a 350-mm bore cylinder, creating a demand for miniaturization. To achieve a compact, low-profile design, we redesigned the component layout.
- We also redesigned the product to eliminate the need for cooling with gel packs, streamlining operations.
- Furthermore, a manual magnetic tool was adopted to improve cylinder insertion operability.
The 3rd generation Kirari NINJA®-DSR
- We have revised the previous model to ensure long-term, stable supply, while maintaining its basic concept and housing size.
- In addition to newly developing the camera board, we have upgraded other consumer components to industrial-grade parts. We have also redesigned the internal components to improve reliability.
We contribute to enhancing marine engine cylinder inspection efficiency by proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
