Stand Alone Permeation System
The Series 500 Stand Alone Permeation System is an exciting new product from Environics. The standard configuration is a passive system. The oven allows for single or multiple disposible permeation tubes.
The system is extremely reliable, with accurate and stability of the temperature within 0.1oC. The temperature can be anywhere from room temperature to 50oC.
A small footprint and light weight makes the Series 500 convenient while adjustments are easy to make with the simple panel mounted controls.
As with all Environics systems, the Series 500 is built to order and can be customized to fit your exact needs. Some available options include:
- Internal flow control (Mass flow controller, rotameter)
- Ulta-high purity ovens
- Supports liquid filled and gas fed devices
- Larger temperature range, up to 100oC
Permeation Oven
Customers decide to use permeation for several reasons. Some use this option to achieve low level concentrations. Others must use permeation because the gases or interest are not available in cylinders. Finally, the ease of obtaining and shipment permeation tubes in a benefit for many.
This option allows the user to insert a disposable liquid gas permeable tube into a precision temperature controlled oven for the emission of the dry vapor form of the gas. The permeation oven can have a dedicated carrier gas flow controller, or that flow controller can be configured to use either the permeation oven, or a high pressure cylinder of gas; expanding the blending capabilities of the system.
Units can house multiple permeation ovens as needed and each oven can hold multiple permeation tubes.
