GE-A and GE-T Series High Accuracy Geartooth Encoders

MDT presents the new GE-A series and GE-T series geartooth encoders. Using patented TMR sensor technology, GE-A/T provide non-contact measurements with differential sine/cosine signals with 1Vpp amplitude (GE-A) or TTL differential square wave signal (GE-T). The encoders are cased in IP68 zinc alloy housings and have input frequencies up to 700kHz and output frequencies up to 10MHz. Furthermore, the encoders can be debugged online in real time.Both series are designed for 0.3~1.0 module gears.

  • Interpolation factor can be customized upon request. It can support up to 256X interpolation per period with fine-tuning in increments of 0.25x;
  • Support online debug function: With GF-T Debug Board, the encoder can be debugged online in real time. It can simplify installation and improve encoder accuracy (GF-T Debug Board is the optional product).
