New Yorker Electronics has announced Mallory Sonalert’s release of the JR Series of Round 30mm Stacklights in 9-16VDC or 20-28VAC/DC voltage ranges. Available with or without sound, the Mallory Sonalert JR 30mm Stacklights are offered in one to three stacks of red, yellow and green.

This Mallory Sonalert Stacklight series is available in both direct mount and four-inch pole mount options and its compact size allows for mounting directly on top of control boxes. Their ultra-compact design delivers functionality in tight spaces as applications range from medical equipment to robotic machines and from machine tooling to 3D printers.

The state-of-the-art LED lights are available with one of seven different sound types, including: continuous tone, chime tone, fast pulse tone, fast double pulse tone, slow double pulse tone, medium pulse tone, and slow pulse tone. An additional option lets the sound change to a short pulse after 15 seconds. Sound levels can also be customized to medium (70 to 80 dB Typ @ 1 meter) or loud (80 to 90 dB Typ @ 1 meter).

Mallory Sonalert stacklight alarm sounds are produced by a piezoelectric audible alarm with a resonant frequency of 3,900 Hz. With a large fundamental frequency and much smaller harmonic frequencies, the alarm produces a clearer sound in comparison to electro-magnetic or electro-mechanical alarms. As with all Mallory Sonalert Stacklights with sound, the control of both light and sound are independent, providing additional flexibility and control.

The JR Series 30mm stacklights are cUL approved, rated NEMA 12, IP-52 and is a compact solution for scientific, robotic, medical, printing, industrial, packaging and other industries.
