NKK Switches expands its rotary switch lineup with the launch of the ultra-thin FD01 and FD02 Series, engineered to meet the demands of today’s compact electronic designs. With profiles as low as 3.1mm and footprints of just 7.2mm (FD01) and 7.7mm (FD02), these DIP switches are ideal for high-density PCB layouts where space is at a premium. Their robust construction includes gold-plated Corson alloy contacts for reliable conductivity and long-term performance, rated for over 10,000 mechanical and electrical operations.

Designed for versatility, the FD01 offers through-hole mounting while the FD02 supports surface-mount installation. Both series feature a maximum electrical rating of 0.4VA at 20V AC/DC, low contact resistance of 100 milliohms, and a wide operating temperature range of –25°C to +85°C. With housings made from heat-resistant PPS and rotors of durable LCP resin, these switches deliver excellent environmental resistance and soldering stability.
