We continue to improve and expand our range of instruments for measuring internal diameters. The design of such a new system for pipes ID measurement is shown below.

The module is placed inside the pipe, the distance between the measured sections is specified in the control program. The module sequentially moves to the required control positions. Rotating laser sensors measure the distance to the surface of the pipe. The polar coordinates of the surface (the distance from the axis of rotation measured by the sensors and the corresponding angle of rotation) are transmitted to the PC. Images of the inner surface are accumulated on a memory card and then transferred to a computer.
