We’ve improved the air?efficiency performance of our YT?1000 electro?pneumatic positioner through a cross?functional engineering effort. Suitable for both safe and hazardous environments, it now uses less energy and delivers stronger sustainability performance for our customers.

This project exemplifies Rotork DNA and behaviours in action. The collaboration between R&D, Product Management and Sustainability teams had one clear objective: reduce air (and therefore energy) consumption without compromising performance or reliability.

Positioners play a crucial role in controlling air demand during valve operation, which means even small engineering improvements can deliver meaningful energy and emissions savings for operators.
