AXO®305 precision accelerometer for navigation
Featured Product from Tronics Microsystems
AXO305 is tailored to precise GNSS-assisted positioning and navigation of manned and unmanned ground vehicles, motion control function for ships dynamic positioning, and navigation of underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles).
High-Performance Accelerometer for Land, Marine and Subsea applications
With a measurement range of ±5 g and a vibration rectification error (VRE) of 20 μg/g², AXO305 is a perfect candidate for navigation, positioning and motion control functions in land transportation, marine and subsea applications.
Its bias Instability of 4 μg and bias over temperature of ±0.5 mg enable precise GNSS-aided navigation of manned and unmanned ground vehicles when integrated into an Inertial Navigation System (INS).
In subsea environments where satellite-based positioning is not available, AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) can take advantage of its compact form factor and low-power consumption to enable precise navigation with no compromise on payload and autonomy.
With a latency of 2 ms, AXO305 is also a perfect candidate for Motion Reference Units (MRU) used in ships dynamic positioning and platforms stabilization systems.
Miniature and robust accelerometers for systems operating under vibration conditions
The closed-loop architecture of Tronics AXO305 offers both high resolution and strong vibration rejection. It is housed in a miniature, hermetic, ceramic J-lead package that ensures long operational and storage life. Its fully hard-coded electronics with a 24-bit digital SPI interface allows a swift integration into INS, IMU and MRU.
Low-SWaP and cost-effective high-performance accelerometers
AXO305 offers a digital, cost-effective, and low-SwaP alternative to bulky, expensive, and power-consuming analog sensors like quartz accelerometers. It is ideally complemented by Tronics GYPRO®4300 high-performance gyro that shares the same SMD J-lead ceramic package (12 x 12 x 5 mm) and same digital interface.
