Free online event is now available on demand
East Greenbush, NY (October 31, 2013) – The October 23 Aerospace Technology online event hosted by IHS GlobalSpec drew more than 1,110 participants, with 76 percent of attendees reporting they are decision makers within their organizations. The free online event is now available on demand to give engineers and industrial professionals easy access to educational presentations and industry-leading supplier resources from the live-day event.
IHS GlobalSpec’s Aerospace Technology online event provided opportunities to explore the latest technologies driving today's military, commercial, and scientific aircraft – from new avionics and flight control strategies to material systems incorporating lightweight composites and high-strength alloys. Attendees also learned about the latest trends impacting aircraft design, assembly and test; met with leading suppliers and component manufacturers; and networked with other industry professionals. Those participating in the event came away with a better understanding of the factors driving change in aerospace technology and discovered solutions that will help their businesses remain profitable and competitive in today's rapidly changing marketplace.
Industrial professionals took advantage of these learning and networking opportunities from the convenience of their desktops, without having to budget for travel expenses or lose time away from the office.
“Industrial professionals who attended our Aerospace Technology online event heard from experts on the latest trends and technologies in the industry and interacted with leading suppliers and manufacturers,” said Chris Chariton, senior director, digital media solutions for IHS GlobalSpec. “It’s also a powerful forum for exhibitors to share their expertise and showcase their products and innovative technologies to a captive and engaged audience.”
