Himanshu Jain is Computer Science Engineer and an entrepreneur. He has written a number of e-books on various topics for global clientele. He also runs a publishing company.
Overview
An isotope is a nuclide of an element with the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons in the nucleus. All isotopes of an element have the same chemical properties but different nuclear properties because the mass numbers of the isotopes are different. Mass number is the sum of the number of neutrons and protons of an element.
This handbook explains the different properties of isotopes, the types of isotopes, such as radioactive and stable, and the applications of isotopes.
