TABLE OF CONTENTS The topics in this chapter cover a set of specialty skills that will help you perform your responsibilities. Some skills recommended in Table 3.1, RA's Skills Matrix, have been mentioned, but not yet discussed in detail. Also, there are areas concerning the work of the RA that deserve further elaboration. Table 7.1 provides a list of these topics. You may find that you don't need all of these at a particular point in your career or on a specific project. However, it's likely that you will need to know about most of these topics at some point in your work. Use this book as a desk guide when the need arises. I will also suggest other useful references that provide more information to help answer the questions listed in Table 7.1.
