   Your choices are...
Water Jet Cutting       Water jets and water abrasive jets rely on highly pressurized water (20,000 - 60,000 psi) flowing through a nozzle or "jewel" approximately 0.010" in diameter. Advantages include almost no material heating during cutting, low side loads, and ability to achieve complex shapes and tight inside radii. Low fixturing costs and fast setup and programming times make this process very suitable for prototypes or short runs. It is most widely used for two-dimensional cutting; three-dimensional machining is possible in specialty applications.
Abrasive Jet Machining (AJM)       Abrasive jet machining is an abrasive blasting process that uses abrasives propelled by high velocity gas to remove material from a workpiece.

Materials
   Materials
   Your choices are...
Metals       Metals are a broad category of elements that usually have a shiny surface and grayish color. They are good conductors of electricity and heat and can be melted or fused, hammered into thin sheets, or drawn into wire. Common metals include steel, copper, gold, silver, tin, iron, lead, aluminum, and magnesium.
Plastics       Plastics are organic, synthetic, or processed materials that are mostly thermoplastic or thermosetting polymers of high molecular weight and that can be made into objects, films, or filaments.
Rubber       Natural or synthetic rubbers are high polymers characterized by their elasticity, high abrasion resistance, and fluid and chemical resistance. Natural rubber includes gum rubber (polyisoprene) and latex. Synthetic rubber includes many grades such as Norprene®, Neoprene®, and silicone. Norprene is a registered trademark of Norton Co. Neoprene is a registered trademark of DuPont.
Glass       Glass is a large class of materials with variable mechanical and optical properties that is formed by cooling from a molten state without crystallization. Glass is a hard, brittle material consisting of a mixture of silicates that is usually transparent or translucent. Glass is considered to be a cooled liquid rather than a true solid.
Stone / Marble / Granite       Stone is any concentrated earthy or mineral matter such as rock. Marble is a metamorphic rock formed by the alteration of limestone. Granite is a hard natural igneous rock consisting chiefly of quartz, orthoclase or microcline, and mica.
Composites       Composites are solid materials comprised of two or more substances that have distinct properties. When merged, each substance retains its own characteristics while providing the entire composition with beneficial properties. Composites include plastic materials in which a fibrous framework is embedded for greater structural stability.
Foam       Foam is a lightweight, porous, semi-rigid or spongy material.
   Other       Other, unlisted materials.
