Interlock Switch Style
   Interlock Switch Style
   Your choices are...
Keyed or Tongue Style Interlock Switch       Interlocks where the switching element and the actuator do not form a design unit but are functionally combined or separated during actuation. Interlock switches of this type are Category 2 devices.
Hinge Operated Style Interlock Switch       Device is mounted over the hinge pin of a hinged guard. The opening of the guard is transmitted by the positive mode operation of the mechanism to the control circuit. Interlock switches of this type are Category 1 devices.
Manually Operated (Bolt) Interlock Switch       Bolt must be manually retracted, providing time delay for machine run down. The bolt locks the guard in place and also operates the contacts. The first few turns of the bolt open the contacts but the locking bolt is not fully retracted until the knob is turned many more times.

Switch Specifications
Number of Normally Open Contacts:       Normally Open - A relay contact pair that is open when the coil is not energized.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Number of Normally Closed Contacts:       Normally Closed - A relay contact pair that is closed when the coil is not energized.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Number of Changeover Contacts:       Changeover, typically Form C (SPDT).
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Positive Break Contacts?       Also called positive opening contacts. The contact point opens reliably and remains open in activated position even in the event of mechanical failure, such as breakage of a spring or contact welding.
Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.

Hinge Operated Interlock Switch
   Shaft Style
   Your choices are...
Bored Shaft       The actuator shaft is pre-bored, allowing the existing hinge pin to be used as the mounting point.
Solid Shaft       The solid actuator shaft can be used as the hinge pin on certain types of guards.

Keyed (Tongue) Actuated Interlock Switch Specifications
Solenoid Latching (Guard Interlock)       Safety interlock device with solenoid latching to provide interlocking of the hazard power source with guard movement and also to prevent opening of the guard until it is safe to do so. They act in conjunction with the control to keep moveable safety guards in their safety position until dangerous conditions no longer exist.
Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Solenoid Lock / Unlock
   Your choices are...
Energized to Unlock       Unlock by applying voltage.
Energized to Lock       Lock by applying voltage.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Features

   Your choices are...
Control Unit       Integral control unit for monitoring multiple switches.
Emergency Override       Locking mechanism can be overridden in emergency situations by using either a tool or an override key.
   Explosion Proof
   Hermetically Sealed
Manual Time Delay       Time delay is used to protect an area where the hazard remains for a time even after the machine control has been turned off.
Multi-actuator Entry Points       The actuator head permits key entry from multiple directions. Allows for versatile installation, typically accomplished with a rotating head.
Tamper Resistant       Protection against unauthorized adjustment or circumvention. Not easily bypassed.
Visual Indicator       Contains an integral visual indicator such as an LED.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Environment
Operating Temperature       The temperature range over which the device must operate.
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
