	Shrink Film / Wrap		Shrink wrap is a plastic film, usually polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyvinyl chloride, which is wrapped loosely about another product or container and then made to shrink tightly with a brief application of heat (usually in a hot air tunnel).
	Stretch Film / Wrap		Also known as stretch wrap, stretch film is most commonly made of linear low-density polyethylene, or LLDPE. It is most commonly used as the material that secures pallets of individual containers. Pallet stretch wrap is used by product manufacturers and distributors to bind shipping cartons to pallets going to a warehouse/distribution center (W/DC). It is also used at the W/DC to wrap pallets sent to outlets/customers.

Fluoropolymer coatings are used in applications that require superior chemical resistance, good dielectric properties, and water and stain repellent characteristics. Fluoropolymers are also used in applications where the material handled must not stick to the belt, fabric, or laminate. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is an insoluble compound that exhibits a high degree of chemical resistance and a low coefficient of friction. It is sometimes marketed in proprietary classes of materials such as Teflon®, a registered trademark of DuPont Dow Elastomers.

	Polyethylene (PE, HDPE, UHMW PE)		Polyethylene is a thermoplastic polyolefin resin. Low density polyethylene polymers are used to form a variety of common or commodity-plastic components. High density (HDPE) and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW PE) have good friction and mechanical properties. They are used in medical devices, wear parts, and engineered components.
	PVC / Vinyl		Products use a vinyl or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) backing in the form of a tape, film, or laminate.
