The ATI Quick-Change Robotic Tool Changer provides the flexibility to robot applications by allowing the robot to change end-effectors (e.g. grippers, vacuum cup tooling, pneumatic and electric motors, weld guns, etc.) automatically, using a patented fail-safe locking mechanism.  These tool changers are designed to function reliably for millions of cycles at rated load while maintaining extremely high repeatability. For this reason, the ATI Tool Changer has become the number-one tool changer of choice around the world.

The ATI Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensor system measures all six components of force and torque. It consists of a transducer, shielded high-flex cable, and intelligent data acquisition system, Ethernet/DeviceNet interface or F/T controller. Force/Torque sensors are used throughout industry for product testing, robotic assembly, grinding and polishing. In research, ATI’s sensors are used in robotic surgery, haptics, rehabilitation, neurology and many others applications.

ATI’s patented Robotic Collision Sensor is designed to prevent costly damage to robotic end-effectors resulting from robot crashes. Features include: automatic reset, high repeatability, large moment rotation, rugged design and low cost. The automatic reset feature particularly benefits workplace safety. After the robot crashes, the Collision Sensor will automatically reset when the robot removes the tooling from the crash-causing object.

ATI has developed three types of compliant deburring tools that make automated deburring cells a safe, consistent, and economical process.  ATI’s Flexdeburr, VersaFinish and Speedeburr deburring tools feature a unique compliance mechanism that allows the customer's tool to compensate for changes in part tolerances, part misalignment, tool wear, and robot path variation while providing a constant contact force with the work piece.

ATI’s Compensator Remote Center Compliance (RCC) device enhances the flexibility and reliability of a robot or assembly machine by allowing it to compensate for positioning errors due to machine inaccuracy, vibration, or tolerance, thereby lowering contact forces and avoiding part and tool damage.
