Advance Boiler & Tank was founded in 1919 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to erect and maintain stationary boilers throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Since that time their mission has evolved but their focus remains in serving the power generation industry. While Advance continues to perform field boiler repairs for a variety of industries from paper, to Great Lakes shipping fleets, to the area utilities, they are also experts in the fabrication of ASME pressure vessels for the power and water treatment industries.

Advance Boiler has the facilities to accommodate large-scale projects. They have shop access, as well as yard space, located on the Milwaukee Municipal Mooring Basin where they can build and ship components that are simply too large to handle in a traditional shop or be moved over-the-road.
