E.F. Britten & Co., Inc., offers a full line of disposable and refillable carbon steel cylinders. All of our cylinders are made from 1008/1010 cold rolled steel, and are copper brazed in our vacuum brazing furnaces. Cylinders are available in sizes ranging from 25 milliliters through 2.4 liters, with operating pressures from 240-600 psi, with threaded inlets (1/8 through 3/4 NPTF or NGT) on one end. Meeting exacting standards set forth by the Department of Transportation, all stock cylinders are manufactured and certified to DOT-4B or DOT-39-NRC specifications. Non-DOT cylinders for your special projects are available by special order. Applications for our cylinders run the gamut from specialty gasses and calibration gasses, to refrigerants use.
