FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation is the holding company of the Fujifilm Group with the three following operating companies under its umbrella: FUJIFILM Corporation, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. and Toyama Chemical Co., Ltd.

Due to rapid digitization, the Fujifilm Group once faced a dramatic reduction of the market demand for our main products, photosensitive materials including photographic film and color photographic paper. After overcoming such a drastic change in the operating environment, we regard this current period as our “Second Foundation,” one in which we are striving to reform our business structure and realize a robust corporate constitution throughout the Group.

Recently, we have been focusing on our priority business fields: Medical Systems and Life Sciences which include the development of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, functional skin care cosmetics and nutritional supplements; Graphic Arts such as printing materials and equipment; Document Solutions including office equipment and printing; Optical Devices such as camera modules for smartphones; Highly Functional Materials such as LCD materials; and Digital Imaging which encompasses digital cameras, digital printing and Photobook. We are expanding our capabilities in these fields through proactive M&A as well as investment in R&D and facilities.
