General Transformer Corporation has been designing and manufacturing custom transformers for almost 40 years. Every part we make is custom designed to meet our customers' specifications and expectations. "Almost right" is never good enough for us, and we won't ask you to settle for anything but the optimum design for your product.

Because we offer Power Transformers, Chokes, Three Phase Transformers, Ferroresonant (constant voltage) Transformers and Toroidal Transformers we can objectively help you pick the right magnetic technology for your application. Our processes includes full design services, prototyping, product manufacturing, add-on services, full production testing, data storage, final inspection and worldwide shipping.

All of General Transformers' products are custom designed for specific applications. Available ratings depend upon a number of factors including power requirements, maximum voltages, currents, and frequency. General designs and manufactures to applicable Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) or other industry standards, and we use UL Recognized materials, including our UL Recognized insulation system. Because we make only custom designed components intended for use within our OEM customers' products, it is generally our customers' end products which achieve UL Recognized or UL Listed status.
