Electron Tube Division
The principal line of business in this division is the development, manufacturing and marketing of optical sensors, as epitomized by our high-speed, high-sensitivity photomultiplier tubes, as well as various kinds of light sources (lamps).

Solid State Division
The principal line of business in this division is the development, manufacturing and marketing of photodiodes, photo ICs, image sensors and other opto-semiconductor elements.

Systems Division
The principal line of business in this division is upgrading systems of devices that are optimum for applications involving fields such as biotechnology, semiconductors and medical care.

Development Bureau, Business Promotion Project
The principal line of business in this group is the development, manufacturing and marketing of high-power semiconductor lasers.

Central Research Laboratory The Central Research Laboratory engages in a broad spectrum of research projects, including fundamental research in pursuit of the true nature of light, and applied research in industrial applications in which the technology and knowledge gained through that fundamental research can be put to work.

Industrial development Laboratory Built in 2008 with the goal of pioneering new optical industries, we use this facility to carry out application research such as for power generation, medical care, and material modification using light energy.
