ImTech, an inkjet solutions company, was founded in Corvallis, Oregon in 1998 by two engineers with a passion for innovation. Both came from long careers at Hewlett-Packard where they led the release of many products including inkjet printers, ink cartridges, calculators, portable computers and peripherals. The foundersbring a depth of experience in product and system design, analysis and testing, ink and substrate compatibility research, and high and low volume manufacturing.

Through ImTech the founders combine their enthusiasm and experience with the talents of a top-quality team of research and development professionals to provide customers with innovative products and services. Their expertise has elevated ImTech from a two-person contract engineering firm to a recognized leader in drop on demand innovation and integration. ImTech was acknowledged as one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in Oregon in 2003 and 2004. In 2006, ImTech was named the Development Stage Company of the Year be the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum.

ImTech provides specialty inks, printing systems and related consulting and engineering services for inkjet applications. Its products range from piezo and thermal inkjet development and characterization tools to HP industrial coders to bulk systems and inks.

As an OEM inkjet partner with HP's Specialty Printing Systems Division, ImTech is licensed to fill new, original HP 45 cartridges with its own inks. In April 2006, ImTech introduced the first commercially available UV inks for HP cartridges. ImTech also develops custom ink formulations for specific customer needs. Its products are available worldwide through a network of distributors.
