JX Nippon ANCI Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Oil Corporation of Japan. ANCI began producing CLAF® fabrics in the U.S. in 1992 at their state-of-the-art facility in Roanoke, Alabama. With offices in the U.S. and France, this organization currently serves customers in many countries in the Americas, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. CLAF is a very versatile scrim with multiple uses. In the packaging field, CLAF® is suitable for virtually any open mesh application. It is heat sealable to itself and to polyolefin films and processes easily on equipment designed for films. This mesh can also be used to reinforce other materials such as films, papers, foil, non-woven materials, foam and many more.
