Their products consist of aqueous solutions prepared to exact quality standards and certified for use in laboratories performing specified standard methods of analysis. These solutions are often specified by State, Federal, or Commercial Industrial Societies to insure universal comparability of data between buyers and sellers and for regulatory and litigation purposes. State and Federal agencies, including organizations like the Federal EPA and the State EPAs, and organizations such as The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), The American Public Health Association (APHA) and The American Water and Wastewater Association (AWWA), are some of the better-known bodies defining standard solutions. Additionally, the same quality standards used to produce certified solutions are used to produce products for OEM customers and customers requiring reagent solutions with proprietary formulations and specifications.

Raw materials used in LabChem products are of the highest quality appropriate to the final product. For most items, raw materials meet or exceed specifications established by the American Chemical Society. Final quality is traceable to NIST standard reference materials where appropriate. Certificates of Analysis and MSDS documentation are available for all their products. LabChem has been ISO9001:2008 Certified since 1994.

Manufacturing, quality control testing and packaging are performed in LabChem's own facilities. Record keeping and retention samples of all lots produced ensure product consistency and complete traceability.
