MCTD is a full-service machine, control, tooling and design company with a worldwide customer base. MCTD was founded in 1983 as Michigan City Tool & Die Inc. Over the years, many changes have taken place in the diversity of projects undertaken. To reflect the company's growth into a full service machine builder, the company's name was changed from Michigan City Tool & Die Inc. to MCTD, Inc. in the year 2000. MCTD now stands for Machines, Controls, Tooling, and Design.
