Micro-Radian Instruments manufactures a complete line of digital autocollimators. Their exceptional accuracy and high resolution make them suitable for applications including the calibration of rotary tables, the verification of angle standards, and for remote or long term angular monitoring operations. Additional uses include measurements of flatness or straightness and providing angular feedback in servo-controlled systems. All Micro-Radian autocollimators are available with analog-only electronics and analog outputs. These autocollimators are suitable for providing high speed measurement data in analog servo-feedback and servo-feedforward systems. Both Micro-Radian analog autocollimators and digital PC-based autocollimators are ideal for OEM airborne and stable platform applications.

Micro-Radian Instruments offers two visual alignment autocollimators. Visual autocollimators rely on the operator's eye to act as the photodetector. Micro-Radian visual autocollimators project a pinhole image. The operator views the reflected image(s) through an eyepiece (MRA-50) or on a computer monitor (CCD-100D). Visual autocollimators are ideal for applications including checking the face parallelism of optical windows and wedges or to line up laser rod ends. All Micro-Radian visual autocollimators are fix-focused on infinity, making them suitable for use at any working distance. Both autocollimators come with an incandescent light source; however, an optional white LED light source is available.
