With more than 100 years of manufacturing a variety of pumps, the Oberdorfer™ name has become synonymous with quality, on-time delivery and accurate performance specifications. All four of our pump families; Gear, Centrifugal, Rubber Impeller and CHEMSTEEL™ pumps are manufactured according to our zero downtime standards and are designed to be quickly interchangeable with your equipment.

Gear Pumps: We offer helical gearing, a method in which the gears are cut on angle to the face of the gear. This allows for more material contact, resulting in a greater degree of material customization and hydraulic range and a quieter running pump.

Centrifugal Pumps: Oberdorfer™ centrifugal pumps deliver a high-volume of flow with a smooth, non-pulsating delivery — making us a leading centrifugal pump manufacturer. These pumps contain few moving parts resulting in less wear and less maintenance. Our centrifugal family models are constructed out of bronze, which is ideal in marine applications and for handling harsh solvents. Our centrifugal pumps provide up to 20 feet of suction lift and can handle most difficult solvents with the proper fluoroelastomer or Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal. Several of our centrifugal models are self-priming.

Rubber Impeller Pumps: Built from bronze, corrosion-resistant materials and powered by a chrome nickel stainless steel driveshaft, this family of pumps is a dependable option for your OEM requirements and a simple replacement option for your aftermarket needs. Large suction and discharge ports enable greater volumes of material handling and suction lifts of 15 feet are possible when fully primed. A standard neoprene impeller is suitable for most fluid applications. However, for consistent exposure to harsher petrochemicals, a Buna N impeller is also available.

CHEMSTEEL™ Pumps: The CHEMSTEEL™ pumps family is engineered to handle highly corrosive material under harsh conditions. Manufactured to extremely precise tolerances, with high performance alloys, CHEMSTEEL™ pumps prevent system contamination while maintaining the integrity of the chemical being handled. Whether your application calls for an acid pump or another type of chemical transfer pump, CHEMSTEEL™ pumps, both sealed and mag drive, are a dependable solution for handling corrosive chemicals.
