ProPhotonix Limited, formerly StockerYale, Inc., began in 1951 and is headquartered in Salem NH. They design and manufacture LED arrays and light engines at their subsidiary, ProPhotonix Ireland, for the machine vision and medical markets as well as the general illumination sector. Their UK subsidiary, located near Stansted airport, produces laser modules and distributes laser diodes from industry-recognized leaders such as Opnext, QSI, and Sanyo. These solutions are used for a number of applications and markets including machine vision, industrial inspection and sensors, defense, and medical equipment.
