All feedstock is tested against its designed properties prior to release to production. An additional cavity for standardized tensile test samples, according to ISO2740, is incorporated into pretty much every tool, allowing them to monitor the mechanical properties of every production run. Once the pilot production of a new part works out well, all process conditions and parameters used will be documented and adhered to in later productions.
