Robert Technologies, Inc. began in 1995 as a custom electronic connector manufacturer. Since then, "RTI" has become well-respected, gaining a reputation for supplying the industry with high reliability electronic connectors that are reasonably priced and readily available. In September 1999, RTI received their first QPL (Qualified Product Listing) on the Mil-C-81703 Series 1 connector line. This approval has helped open doors to many companies involved in the aerospace, medical, oil exploration, energy and communication industries. In 2001 RTI was asked to make connectors for power distribution systems and they put their connector know how to use and started producing a COTS version of the Class L connector. It was decided after 5 years of manufacturing Class L connectors that they would produce them in MS as well. In June of 2010 the company received their QPL approvals and listing.
FOCUS RTI's primary focus is to provide the military and commercial industries a choice on where they can purchase their military and commercial electronics connectors. RTI focuses strongly on:
By giving that choice, RTI feels their quality, service, professionalism and competitive pricing will give them the edge in the areas they focus on. Procurement, R&D and Production departments should not be limited on what and where they can buy from. Situations like these can cause serious dilemmas in planning, meeting deadlines and departmental budgets. PRODUCT LINE RTI's primary product line consists of the QPL'd Mil-C 22992 Class L compatible connectors, QPL'd SAE-AS-81703 Series I connector line which is QPL Approved, RT Solder Series (Commercial) and RTS Crimp Series (Commercial). These connectors are a Quick-Release style, and are used primary in high-end applications. FACILITY RTI has a state of the art machine shop and a tooling facility for custom design and modifications. Robert Technologies controls their manufacturing through their ownership of all tooling for the parts, whether they manufacture in house or through their network of qualified subcontracting partners, to assure you of consistent quality products. They also have in house engineering services and their facility is qualified to Mil-Q-790 quality standards. |
