In order to provide flexible, low risk manufacturing solutions Sechan maintains core manufacturing competency in the areas of wire harness fabrication, electronic circuit card assembly, electronic equipment, and system integration. Stringent environmental and ESD controls are maintained throughout the manufacturing facility in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 and MIL-STD-1686. All activity is performed by an experienced workforce certified to exacting J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and WHMA/IPC-A-620, Class 3 requirements. Work is planned and controlled using extensive software systems like the AEGIS MES and Synchrono Adaptive Manufacturing platforms.

The Production Test Department is a component of the Engineering Department where production test technicians perform routine factory testing in accordance with approved test procedures. Most of the electronic testing is automated, whether ambient acceptance testing or environmental ESS testing.

Sechan has developed numerous automated and semi-automated testers for many programs and the engineering staff is well acquainted with the technical hardware/software tradeoffs that are inevitable in the design process. Typically, these special purpose test systems are fully documented to customer requirements and include a customer certification process before use or acceptance.

Sechan's design engineering personnel, experience, and facilities ensure on-time delivery of quality products. With a varied product base, our engineers have the knowledge to support production programs such as product development or customer build-to-print.

Sechan's configuration management system consists of three baseline elements: product documentation, process documentation, and corporate documentation. Our system identifies product drawings, as well as Sechan-generated documents and processes, which are customer-related. This identification, as well as change control ensures product quality.
