Strataflo valves offer fully-formed poppets made of varying types of rubber compounds or stainless steel, depending on the application. They do NOT use O-rings! These fully-formed poppets, along with other high quality internal components, are the most durable solution available in the market, saving their customers unnecessary maintenance and replacement costs.

Once the valves have been machined and are ready for assembly, Strataflo runs two tests that ensure a leak-proof valve:

• Test 1: After each casting is machined and checked dimensionally, it is placed under a combination of water and air pressure to test the body (casting) for leaks.
• Test 2: After the poppet assembly is installed in the valve, Strataflo "back-flows" the outlet side of the valve with water to ensure a leak-proof seal.
