VG Controls is an electronics development and manufacturing company. We had been involved in the conception, design and implementation of special purpose electronic systems in a variety of application areas for traction systems, including power converter control circuitry, protective relays, instrumentation and man-machine interface. We have both standard and custom products in those areas.

VG Controls has a broad background of product and system engineering experience in a traction applications. Our innovative technical solutions incorporate a wide range of design, verification, and implementation tools and techniques.

VG Controls offers integrated controllers for traction power converters. They are based on high performance RISC microcontrollers and perform all control functions in the software thus simplifying hardware and improving reliability.

VG Controls offers a family of keyboard encoders USE145, USE150 and USE104. They are software configurable and can operate as PC/AT, PC/XT or RS232 devices. USE150 and USE104 also provide Multi-macro and "True Shift" capability. Beside board level products we also offer encoder chips and chip sets.

VG Controls developed different instrumentation products for special industrial usage. Typical applications include: AC and DC metering; SCR voltage monitoring; SCR Commutation monitoring; and Other special application. VG Controls have also designed many custom products for various applications. Areas of expertise include: Traction; Instrumentation; Protection relays; Test Equipment; and Monitoring Equipment.

VG Controls offers a family of miniterminals UNT2 and UNT1. They are RS232 devices which interface directly with a keypad, alphanumeric display and LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). UNTs are powered up by +5 VDC and provide true RS232 compatibility.
